Website up and thoughts on Scrivener

After a couple of days of tech hell, my official author website, A Truant Disposition, is back up and running. My posts there tend to be longer (this is a microblog, afterall) and there’s more about me and my books. I did manage to chill out yesterday, but between emails with techies and going through the Scrivener tutorial, it was a busy day. I haven’t finished the tutorial yet, but I like what I’ve seen of Scrivener so far. It seems to be very well thought out. It’s probably more than what most novelists need, but it will be a big help to those working on series as I am, as well as those who need to do extensive world-building, or who do a lot research for books, both fiction and non-fiction. It can handle complexity. Though I won’t need all its features for the novel I’ll be editing and revising for Camp NaNoWriMo, if I have time before Camp begins I may put the novel and notes into Scrivener anyway. It would probably be better to familiarize myself with it on a smaller project than the series. Onward!
