A couple of posts elsewhere…Today and Upcoming

I’m going back to weekly posts on the group food blog this month, starting this Friday, with Spicy Braised Spinach. Follow the blog on WordPress so you don’t miss my post or those of my co-blogger, Nancy!

Today I wrote a long personal piece on my author blog about Leonard Nimoy and Spock. (Remember, this blog here is just for short, mostly fluffy, stuff.) I’ve made a conscious effort to avoid blogging about the passing of various people after I realized a few years ago that I’d done two such pieces in three months…and I blog at length so infrequently that such pieces could easily dominate the blog. But I couldn’t let Nimoy’s passing go without a word. Or rather a lot of words. Spock meant a lot to me. More than I can say.

(If you’re curious about those other two other in memorium pieces I mentioned: Ray Bradbury, Technology, and Book People, and Neil Armstrong: The Moon In My Living Room.)
